Brady goes for his own Thursday night magic

Patriots Jets ThursdayFor well over a decade now, the debate about the best quarterback in the NFL has revolved around two names; Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Both are tremendously accomplished, both are among the all-time greats, and both have beaten Dan Marino’s former single-season passing touchdown record that was once thought to be unbreakable.

In week one, Manning showed that he’s still as elite as he’s ever been, throwing for seven touchdowns in a dominating performance over the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens. Now in week two of the young NFL season, Brady gets his chance to step into the spotlight on Thursday night and attempt to answer Manning’s epic performance from last Thursday. But with injuries weighing down on all of Brady’s receiving threats, the pressure falls that much heavier on the quarterback to be as precise as ever. Not to mention easing the worries of fantasy football owners everywhere that he’s not about to let them down in 2013.

It’s the start of NFL week two on Thursday night as the New England Patriots take on the New York Jets. Come on in early and grab your seat in the Saloon so you don’t miss a single snap. Order up a hot meal and a cold beer to set yourself up for a Thursday night that will make you feel like the weekend is already here!

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:25 p.m. Pacific.
